PROBLEM:
In our community, a neighbor faces a unique problem. His dog has cancer, and the illness is causing his beloved pet to need to urinate frequently. As a result, he had to get up to let his best friend outside to relieve himself often. This behavior occurred up to 6 times in the middle of the night! Our neighbor hadn't gotten a good night's rest in days. Unfortunately, his condo did not have a dog door installed, and finding one that would accommodate his larger pet would not be quick nor easy.
SOLUTION:
We recognized that our neighbor's sliding screen patio door had been broken through by his pet, so we decided to share a solution to his problem that we already had in mind for patio doors.
